About Us

Unbroken Athletica prides itself for being an innovative brand that focuses on empowering athletes to prioritize their mental wellbeing. We start conversations through high-quality, functional athleisure with a street aesthetic. Since our formation in 2021, we’ve never been content to sit back and keep silent. We're constantly speaking up, providing support, and challenging the stigma that haunts our athletes. We’re inspired by the brave few who influence minds, shape the future, and strive to build a healthier, happier athletic community.

Our Founder

In 2019, Emily Benbenek was an NCAA softball athlete who attempted suicide as a junior in college. In 2020, she started this brand dedicated to raising awareness and supporting athletes that struggle. Her goal is to build a supportive community for athletes so they have the support and close community that she always wished to have during her athletic career. She is the reason we are loud about the untold, the heartbreak, the passion, and the realities of the sports world.

Our Donations

Our mission is to help athletes struggling with mental health. To do this, 10% of all profits are donated towards a cause that we identify with and think does incredible good for the mental health stigma, in athletes and in others.

We think these organizations all have a tremendous approach to mental health by:

  • Funding scientific research
  • Educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention
  • Advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention
  • Supporting survivors of suicide and those affected by suicide loss
